Heavy rainfall in Koshi and Karnali today

Kathmandu, Sept 7: Heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places of hilly region of Koshi and Karnali Provinces today. There are chances of moderate rain is some places of hilly region of the country and at few places of rest of the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The weather will remain generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country and partly cloudy in rest of the country. Light drizzle is currently taking place in the federal capital, with monsoon low pressure line active in the east as well as the west of the country.

Tonight, the weather will continue to remain generally cloudy in Koshi and Madesh Provinces along with the hilly regions of the country. Moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of Koshi Province along with the hilly regions Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and at a few places of hilly and tarai regions of rest of the country. There are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of tarai region of Koshi Province, adds the Division.
